Comments:
I use it mostly on broken up bike paths. The paths break up because of Oak tree roots. Bike handles bumps like there not even there. Plus this bike is fast! It seems as fast as my Giant Contend. Shifts smooth and brakes are decent. Beautifully bike also. The Black and Grey looks great.

This is my first bike that I purchased as an adult. Last bike I owned was when I was a kid. However, I have tried a lot of bikes. I was looking for something that is a good value. This bike hit the mark. Great price, and even better quality. I must have shopped around for about 3 weeks looking and trying all types of bikes in this range. I would venture to guess I looked at between 12-25 bikes. As soon as I rode this one, I knew I had to have it. I purchased the red one. It looks super sleek!

I am so glad that I found this shop. All the places near where I live that sold bicycles closed years ago. This is the first time I've spent any real money on a bike. Usually, I go cheap but I can tell this is a bike that was designed for a serious rider. From the moment I rode the bike out of the shop, I was impressed. I can not remember the last time I just had fun riding a bike. This is definitely a fast bike. I could not believe how easily I was able to get this bike up to 20 miles per hour. I was not expecting that. It was a little scary at first because I've never ridden a bike that can go that fast. I am probably going to get a lot of mileage out of this bike before the Summer is out.

Quick review of the 2015 Escape model. I bought it in March 2015. Long story short, I put 2500 miles on this bike so far (its January 2016). Its inexpensive, but perfectly functional. After I dialed things in, after its break in period, I have had zero mechanical issues. I did change out the handlebars for, "trekking bars", and replaced the seat with a cutout model. I am 5'11 and the large size model feels perfect.

I ride about 12-14 miles a day. I just bought this bike and was going in for a Trek. Since Giant is a bigger bike company and numbers equal lower cost, I was able to buy the Giant at a lower price that the same quality Trek bike. So far this is a dream. So smooth and able. The quality of the bike and components are obvious and constant. I cannot say enough about this bike. I am glad it caught my eye in Trace Bike shop.

Comments:
I bought this bike in an effort to get back into shape. It has been a dream. My problem has always been that I couldn't find a way to exercise that I enjoyed enough to be excited about every day. This bike has helped me find just that. The ride is smooth and fast. The only problem I have had is shifting up when I get out of a stretch of grass I ride through, but I imagine that has more to do with user error. If you plan to take up this hobby, this is a great bike to start with.

Comments:
I use this bike on the trails and roads for about 10 miles daily. I am no expert but wanted a bike that wouldn't need maintenance every week (Schwinn). Problem I had with my old Schwinn was the rims would be bent and impossible to ride the bike and the gears needed maintenance 1 time every 2 months. This bike has been amazing so far and is effortless. Looks great in black/gray
